Split offers excellent conditions for yacht charters and new sailors. A small sea, no tide and stable weather mean things needn't get too hairy. The myriad of tiny islands dotted around the area are close enough together to yacht charters and island hop, and there are a few unexplored parts for you to go and play Columbus.
The little-known island Hvar is a big attraction with its grand castle and fashionable restaurants and bars. For the more experienced sailor, extreme sailing conditions can be found if you're looking for a challenge. But as much as anything, if you're coming to

Split is not only an urban, cultural and traffic centre of Dalmatia with road and sea connections to Dalmatia's numerous summer resorts, but it is itself often a tourist and excursionists destination. A city with a 1700-year old tradition, a variety of archaeological, historical and cultural monuments, among which the well-known Palace of Diocletian, inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage List, certainly occupies a special position, and the warmth and offer of a modern Mediterranean city.

Over a thousand islands make up the Dalmatian Islands. With such variety, calm winds and turquoise waters, the Croatian coastline makes for an unforgettable Yachtcharter holiday. The sea here is remarkably clean and, unlike some parts of the Mediterranean, is still alive with sea life and full of fish. The cities and villages are ancient and intriguing. With so many stunning islands, bays and beaches, the Croatian Islands can virtually guarantee you, a little bit of privacy and some truly remarkable anchorages. As with most of the Mediterranean the Yacht Charters season is quite long runs from about April through to about the end of October. The weather is predominantly warm and dry during these months. Our charter bases are situated in
Pula,
Murter,
Sukosan and
Zadar
(main ports North) and Marina Kastela,
Dubrovnik
and
Split
in the south. If you come by air we advise you to fly to Zadar or Split (transfer to Murter is approx. 60 - 80 minutes). You can also travel to Pula by car via Germany, Austria and Slovenia. The new motorway is ready so it is no longer necessary to take the dangerous coastal route.

The best season for Yacht Charters Croatia, Split in Dalmatia is early summer with light to moderate winds in May and June. In July and August, periods of calm prevail, ideal for those who prefer calm waters. Winds are predominantly westerly in the summer. From late September on, the winds strengthen with prolonged periods of the Bora (strong north wind) and the Sirocco (humid east-southeast wind). standard charter time is from Saturday afternoon 17:00h with return to port on Friday 16:00h.
