The French Riviera Yachting scene is ever increasing in popularity and the types of yacht charter available in Marseilles,  Cannes, St Tropez, Iles d’Hyères, Golf Juan and Port Pin Rolland are all types of yacht . As with most of the Mediterranean, Yachting France season generally runs from April to the end of October. The summer season in July and August is the hottest and tends to have the warmest sunshine, lightest winds and also the largest crowds. This is also the high season as far as Yachting France season is concerned. Other good times to charter your Yachting France season is generally on either of the shoulder seasons (April-May and September-October), each side of the main summer season (July-August), as the temperatures are still comfortable, and the onshore tourists have yet to arrive in their largest numbers.

Yachting France | Conditions:

Prevailing winds in the spring blow from west to north and often turn easterly near Cannes. In the summer, westerlies are replaced by calmer breezes. Cruising is easy with line-of-sight navigation within well-marked waters. There are also plenty of sheltered marinas, harbors and bays. Standard charter time is from Saturday afternoon 17:00h with return to port on Friday 16:00h. On return check out will take place and you can stay on board until Saturday morning 09:00h.
